Post Canada Strike Shipping Update

Dear The Papery Glebe Patrons,

We hope this note finds you well and reveling in the delights of the new year! As we set our sails for 2025, we’re thrilled to announce that our online store will officially restart shipments on January 3rd.

As you may already know, we had to temporarily stop shipping due to the Canada Post strike. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this period, and we’re relieved to see smoother skies ahead. It’s been a restful pause for our elves in the shipping department, but we are now limbered up and ready to go!

While we’re eager to ship your treasures far and wide, a quick note of honesty: delivery times are currently dancing to their own rhythm. As of today, January 2nd 2025, Canada Post is not guaranteeing any delivery dates. This means that the standard time for items are no longer applicable. For example, if you were based in Nova Scotia and were placing an item for Expedited Shipping on January 2nd, although Canada Post states that you would get it for January 6th, that is no longer guaranteed. 

Between the lingering post-holiday rush and the post-strike delays, we recommend opting for tracked shipping to keep tabs on your parcel’s journey. It is a simple way to bring peace of mind as you await their arrival.
