This Traveler's Notebook pen holder will clamp to the covers of both sizes, Original and Passport. The medium size pen holder is designed to hold slimline pens or the clip on pens such as the Lamy Safari (shown). The pen or pen clip fits through a leather loop that is riveted to the metal clasp.
