Benjamin Chee Chee boxed note cards. His cultural background is Ojibway. The artist is paid a royalty on every sale.
Chee Chee largely taught himself to draw and paint, as his father died when he was two months old, and not long after he lost track of his mother. One reason behind his drive for success as a painter was his ambition to be reunited with her. He was a prominent member of the second generation of Woodland Indian painter that began in the 1960's and has since become one of the most important art schools in Canada.
The artist or copyright holder has been paid a royalty for the sale of this product.
